I joined Northumbria University in September 2008 after completing my A-levels in maths, physics and product design.

While at Northumbria I studied for my BA(hons) Architecture degree, I have completed a series of projects that have developed in both length and complexity as the course progressed. Alongside these design based studies, I have also produced a series of reports that tie in with the design modules helping to explain the technology in my design and how it affects the surrounding environment. These reports have been lead by the taught modules that correspond with them.

The key modules studied have included Architectural History and Theory, Architectural Technology Applications, Communicating Architecture, Constructional and Structural Technologies and Environmental and Systems Integrated.

I have developed many skills whilst studying for my degree which include drawing and sketching to scale as required, diagramming, building models to scale by hand, using Computer Aided Design software to produce 3D visuals and design drawings, producing models for CNC machines and photography.

In order to continue my studies I am now looking to complete a year in practice to allow me to learn more about the industry before returning to University to gain my Masters and ultimately to gain my final qualifications.
